Nepal Taught Rest of The World That Resilience Is Order Of The Day.

Nepal has built a bold and deep faith in resilience despite a series of disasters, including the Himalayan Tsunami-2026 and the Gorkha earthquake-2015. “Nepal taught the rest of the world that resilience is the order of the day,” said Prof. Fr. Xavier Savarimuthu SJ, PhD, keynote speaker of the International Conference organized by St. Xavier’s College (ICSXC-2026), which kicked off today. “Irrespective of being shaken by natural calamities, you’re still standing happy, being above India in the global happiness index”, Prof Savarimuth praised Nepal among 300 delegates from different parts of the world. An environmental expert and climate justice advocate, He has delivered talks in Stockholm, the Philippines, the University of Oxford, the United Nations Climate Summits in Paris, France, Bonn, and Germany.
